Steffi Nasol began her GSF journey in June 2022, but her connection to the company started years earlier. She first learned about GSF while working for Starbucks, one of GSF’s customers, during college.
“It felt like a full circle moment when I officially joined the GSF team,” said Steffi, who now serves as the Quality Compliance Manager at the City of Industry, California manufacturing facility.
Advancing in Quality
Steffi started at GSF as Senior Quality Systems Technician, and she quickly built a strong foundation in quality and operational processes. Demonstrating her leadership potential early on, she quickly became the acting supervisor on second shift.
In just a year, Steffi advanced to Senior Quality Systems Supervisor, expanding her leadership and technical skills. Supported by GSF’s extensive development resources, she strengthened her management skills through GSF University, LinkedIn Learning, mentorship, and hands-on experience.
Then, in 2024, she stepped into the role of acting Quality Compliance Manager, deepening her understanding of regulations, compliance operations, and strategic leadership.
Culture of Support and Growth
When asked what keeps her at GSF, Steffi credits the company’s people-first culture and commitment to continuous improvement.
“I like that the company lives by its Creed and Values, prioritizes associate and food safety, and always finds ways to be better by ensuring growth for all,” said Steffi. “I have always felt supported in all that I do at GSF and in life.”
For those looking to grow their careers at GSF, Steffi offers this advice: “Be curious, never stop learning, and take initiative. Start small by stepping out of your comfort zone and trying something new, like taking a new course or seeking new challenges.”
Looking Ahead
As she looks to the future, Steffi aims to deepen her expertise in food safety and quality management. “I want to continue building my knowledge and eventually move into a role that makes an even greater impact on food safety.”
