Two GSF executives are taking on new board appointments, supporting organizations that drive innovation, growth, and community impact. Their involvement will contribute to workforce development, industry growth, and community programs, advancing GSF’s ongoing engagement with initiatives that strengthen local talent and the broader restaurant and foodservice sector.
Brian Dick, GSF President and CEO, joined the Board of Directors of the CEO Leadership Alliance Orange County (CLAOC) in September 2025. A coalition of more than 55 dedicated CEOs, CLAOC addresses the region's most pressing challenges while fostering economic growth and inclusivity across Orange County. The organization works to close gaps in talent and capital, develop a strong local workforce, and build a thriving innovation hub. In his board role, Brian will advise on strategy, act as a catalyst for collaboration, and provide resources to advance CLAOC’s mission. As a CLAOC member since 2024, GSF has actively engaged in programming to support the local workforce, including hosting a summer intern to provide hands-on career exploration.
Hugues Labrecque, Group Vice President, Sales, will serve on the Board of Directors for the National Restaurant Association (NRA) for the upcoming 2026 term. The NRA, founded in 1919, is the leading business association for the restaurant industry, representing more than 1 million restaurants and foodservice outlets and a workforce of 15.7 million employees nationwide. In his board capacity, Hugues will serve on the Restaurant Advocacy Fund, which supports state and local advocacy efforts on policy issues affecting operators, employees, and suppliers, and helps advance the industry’s key imperatives: unlocking new growth horizons, elevating experience and connection, unleashing breakthrough efficiency, and empowering a future-ready workforce.
