A new online destination for learning and growth opportunities arrives at GSF associates’ fingertips this week. The newly enhanced online GSF University provides an exciting suite of training and development content that complements two newly created classrooms, one housed at QCD Fontana in Southern California and another at GSF in Opelika, Alabama.
“This year’s GSF University roll-out is rooted in our strong culture of individual growth, innovation, and ongoing investment in our people,” said Ed Rodriguez, Corporate Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer, of the comprehensive learning program that was launched in 2010. “With two brand new classrooms and an enhanced online solution, the GSF University continues to elevate our focus on learning and development as an organizational strength and competitive advantage for talent.”
Over the past few weeks, a pilot group of associates have experienced the new GSF University online solution. These GSF University champions provided plenty of positive comments about the platform, along with honest thoughts on opportunities to enhance its effectiveness for all associates.
“GSF University online now offers over 3,000 unique courses, ranging from business and leadership, to creativity and technology,” said Melissa Vieira, Senior Manager, Organizational Development. “We’re thankful for the detailed input of many associates, including our pilot group of users who recently helped test out the online learning courses.”
