GSF Earns Wendy’s 2026 Good Done Right Award

Golden State Foods received the 2026 Good Done Right Award from its customer, Wendy’s, and the Quality Supply Chain Co-op (QSCC), earning recognition as Wendy’s Supplier of the Year during the 2026 Wendy’s Convention & Supplier Show in Las Vegas. The award honors one supplier partner each year for advancing Wendy’s corporate responsibility pillars of Food, People and Footprint.

The recognition reflects a strong partnership that reaches across every area of the business. Teams from operations, R&D, culinary, supply chain, project management and commercialization, quality assurance, marketing, sustainability, sales and the GSF Foundation all contributed to the achievement through their daily support of the Wendy’s brand. The partnership also includes collaboration with the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, a cause that aligns closely with Wendy’s long-standing commitment to children and families.

QSCC leaders highlighted the depth of the relationship when presenting the award. Pete Suerken, President and CEO of QSCC, congratulated GSF in saying, “You guys earned it. Thank you for all you do to support QSCC and Wendy’s.”

“This award really came down to the total relationship GSF has with QSCC and how GSF supports the Wendy’s brand,” said Jeremy Brohord, QSCC Executive Vice President. “We wanted to show our appreciation for GSF as one of our most valued partners.”

Representing GSF at the event, Zach Klein, Group Vice President of Sales, Patrick Larkin, Associate Director of Sales, and Katie Mejia Valle, National Account Manager, accepted the award on behalf of the many GSF teams that support Wendy’s across North America.

“This recognition reflects what happens when talented teams come together around a shared purpose and a commitment to serving our customers every day,” said GSF sales leader Zach Klein. “From the front lines of our operations to the teams that support our business behind the scenes, people across GSF helped strengthen our partnership with Wendy’s and QSCC through collaboration, innovation and consistent execution.”

As Wendy’s and QSCC celebrated supplier partners during this year’s convention, GSF stood out for the strength of its partnership and the collective efforts of associates who help support the Wendy’s system every day. The Good Done Right Award perpetuates to an enduring history of customer recognition for GSF and underscores the company’s commitment to delivering exceptional service, operational excellence and meaningful impact for customers and communities alike.
