January 2021 marks 25 years since Thi Thu Nguyet immigrated from Vietnam to Australia to begin working at Golden State Foods’ Produce Products facility near Sydney. A quarter of a century ago, this month’s Woman in the Warehouse started at GSF Fresh! Australia as a team member in production.
Through her loyalty to the company, hard work, and tenacity, Thi is now a successful quality assurance technician. She attributes her longevity to GSF’s continuous career development opportunities, all while supporting her as she took time to care for her family.
“After 25 years, GSF is still a place where I can constantly learn and acquire more knowledge about the products and technology in the industry,” Thi says.
Thi believes women should take all of the opportunities presented by the industry and believes her work at GSF Fresh! Australia has made a meaningful impact on her life.
“To me, celebrating 25 years at GSF is an enormous achievement,” she shares. “This anniversary highlights my growth from a young adult to where I am now 25 years later.”
