McDonald’s recently appointed GSF President and Chief Executive Officer Brian Dick as Chair of its U.S. Supplier Advisory Council (SAC). Continuing his two-year SAC term, Brian will partner with McDonald’s U.S. Supply Chain leadership in spearheading the SAC, which provides thought leadership and unbiased advice to McDonald’s System partners to create an enduring competitive advantage.

“On behalf of the McDonald’s U.S. Supply Chain Leadership, we congratulate Brian on his appointment to Chair of the U.S. SAC,” said Cesar Pina, McDonald’s Senior Vice President, Chief Supply Chain Officer North America. “It is a privilege to have the opportunity to partner with Brian and all of our SAC members to harness their thought leadership to make the Arches shine a little brighter.”

Serving the entire McDonald’s system, the SAC represents a key aspect of GSF’s continued commitment to customer success, industry leadership, and long-term partnership. Since the 1970s, GSF has served as a leading foodservice supplier to McDonald’s and actively engaged in collaborative opportunities and impactful initiatives that support the customer’s Three-legged Stool principle. Introduced by Ray Kroc more than 60 years ago, the Three-legged Stool endures today as the guiding belief that the stool is only as strong as the three legs that form its foundation: McDonald’s employees, franchisees and suppliers.
