GSF Enhances Leadership Team with Key Appointments and Promotions


GSF recently announced several strategic leadership updates, including the appointments of Steve Mollick as Corporate Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Paul McCombs as Corporate Vice President and Chief Digital & Information Officer, and Christin Kohloff as Vice President, Research & Development, along with the promotions of Zach Klein to Group Vice President, Sales, and Dustin Douglas to Quality Custom Distribution (QCD) Group Vice President, Continuous Improvement.

Based in Irvine, California, Steve joined GSF in early December 2025. He leads the company’s financial management and administration, oversees corporate finance, accounting, and investment strategies, and provides financial guidance to operating businesses.


Steve brings more than 35 years of finance leadership from previous chief financial officer roles at Bimbo Bakeries and General Electric Company. He earned a master’s degree in finance from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Pennsylvania's University of Scranton.


Also based in Irvine, Paul joined GSF in December 2025 to head the development and execution of the company’s global technology strategy. He oversees the allocation of internal and external technology resources to strengthen GSF’s digital capabilities.


With over two decades of experience in advancing digital, information technology, and data strategies for global organizations, Paul previously served in global chief information and digital officer positions at KP Films and DuPont Nutrition & Biosciences. He holds a master’s degree in finance and accounting from University of Chicago and Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Grinnell College in Iowa. 


Christin also joined GSF in December 2025. Based in Conyers, Georgia, she leads innovation and product development for the organization, translating market insights and emerging consumer trends into scalable, trend‑forward food solutions.


Her background includes more than 15 years of experience in research, development, and acquisition, and prior to GSF, she held vice president and director roles at Kerry. Christin completed her master’s studies in food nutrition and health from University College Dublin in Dublin, Ireland, following undergraduate degrees in cellular physiology and psychology from the University of Wisconsin in Whitewater, Wisconsin.

 

In February 2026, Zach assumed his elevated role of Group Vice President, Sales. In this position, he provides strategic leadership for all domestic and export sales and marketing activities. He partners closely with quick-service and limited-service restaurant customers and cross-functional teams to shape an inclusive sales culture and deliver exceptional service.


Since joining GSF in 2022, Zach has driven significant business growth, earned new customer business, and retained core accounts through key contract renewals. A 2025 GSF Stellar Award recipient for performance excellence, he also guided the development of the company’s five‑year go‑to‑market strategy and long‑term growth plan. Zach brings prior leadership experience from The Kraft Heinz Company and holds a bachelor's degree in business managerial economics with a communications minor from The College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio.


Within GSF’s distribution business, Dustin earned a promotion in mid-December 2025 to QCD’s Group Vice President, Continuous Improvement. In this role, he guides enterprise-wide initiatives to enhance warehouse and transportation operations, support new facility builds, and optimize processes that enable customer and business growth.


A Frisco, Texas-based QCD associate since 2021, Dustin previously held senior director roles in operations and continuous improvement. He developed innovations to improve safety and efficiency across QCD’s transportation and warehouse operations. His background includes leadership positions at Pepsi North America, and he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, and transportation from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee.
