Since 1994, Golden State Foods Egypt has served dozens of customers and hundreds of restaurants throughout the Middle East from its Distribution Center and Liquid Products facilities in Cairo, Egypt. On October 25, the facilities marked 25 years of providing award-winning food service distribution, global logistics, international food quality standards and joint venture partnerships that facilitate international operations.

The GSF Egypt Liquid Products team earned McDonald’s 2017 Supplier of the Year. Through the years, associates in Egypt have earned GSF’s Safety Award, Quality Focus Award and Chairman’s Challenge top honors.
Continually in pursuit of food service excellence, GSF Egypt most recently achieved the highest rating of “AA” on the 2019 BRC audit for its Burger King customer. For the fourth consecutive year, the Distribution Center passed the unannounced DQMP audit with a 96% or “A” grade for 2019. Earlier this year, the Liquid Products facility participated in the Halal Certificate surveillance audit, allowing the facility to renew their certificate in preparing food according to Islamic guidelines.
