GSF Earns ADS Package of the Year Award for Innovative Pouch Created in Partnership with Sealed Air

This month the Association for Dressings and Sauces (ADS) announced Golden State Foods (GSF) as the winner of the Package of the Year Award for its CRYOVAC® brand FlexPrep® portion-dispensing pouches, created through a collaboration with Sealed Air®. During the ADS 2021 Technical Meeting from October 10-12, the Association presented the Package of the Year Award to increase awareness of innovative product packaging and to celebrate the accomplishments of the packaging industry for dressings, sauce, and condiment-related packages.

Sealed Air ‎engineers the FlexPrep packaging with a unique, frangible seal technology that ‎allows the pouch to open without the need of a ‎sharp object. The flexible, hermetically sealed pouches reduce primary packaging by up to 85 percent. Available in a variety of sizes, the FlexPrep portion-dispensing pouch is produced by CRYOVAC® Brand Food Packaging.

In 2020, GSF earned the ADS Sauce of the Year Award for its Zaxby’s Caribbean Jerk Sauce. Founded in 1926, ADS represents international manufacturers of salad dressings, mayonnaise, condiment sauces, and suppliers to the industry.
