Jeremy Carson began his GSF journey on the third shift as a kitter at KanPak in Arkansas City, Kansas in 2012. It was a starting point, but even then, he showed the drive and curiosity that would soon lead him into new roles with GSF’s dairy and beverages company.
A Career Built on Opportunity
After just six months, Jeremy transitioned to production, stepping onto the batch deck—a move that would shape the next chapter of his career. For three and a half years, he built experience and gained a deeper understanding of KanPak’s processes.
In 2016, opportunity knocked again. Jeremy accepted a position as a UHT (ultra-high-temperature) processing operator, a critical role in making shelf-stable food products. Within a year, his hard work paid off and he became the process lead.
By 2019, Jeremy had earned a promotion to third-shift production supervisor. Two years later, he moved to first shift, where he currently leads with the same passion that launched his journey.
Support, Culture, and a Strong Team
Jeremy credits much of his growth to the people around him.
“My supervisors and managers always pushed me to give my all and share what I know,” he explains. “That support made a big difference.”
KanPak’s family-oriented culture has been a strong foundation for Jeremy’s success, providing support and a sense of belonging throughout his career. He values the positive, team-driven environment and credits the people he works with every day as one of the most rewarding parts of his job. The culture motivates him to consistently do his best and contribute to the company’s success.
Looking to the Future
After more than a decade of growth at KanPak, Jeremy continues to look ahead, setting his sights on becoming a production manager. He remains driven to keep advancing and building on the progress he’s already made.
For those looking to grow within KanPak and GSF, Jeremy offers a simple piece of advice: “Don’t be afraid to try new things—that’s how you advance, not just here, but in life.”
