Imah Aslam, Total Rewards Manager for Golden State Foods (GSF) at its Irvine, California corporate office, started in July 2021 as a Human Capital Management Analyst, supporting Human Resources (HR) systems and data needs across GSF. She expanded her skills quickly, progressed into broader responsibilities, and led enterprise projects that shaped compensation and benefits programs across many facilities. She now drives key functions, including merit and bonus cycles, multi‑state compensation market studies, and ongoing improvements that strengthen the associate experience.
“I was drawn to GSF because of its culture, strong industry reputation, and commitment to associates, customers, and the communities we serve,” she said. “I also enjoy that GSF is a wide-reaching company with the feel of a close‑knit organization.”
Collaboration across HR, payroll, and finance teams helped Imah gain broad business insight. Purpose and people guided her progress, as well as mentorship from leaders who champion learning at every stage.
