GSF Career Spotlight: Fredrick Bloodworth

Since joining GSF in November 2018, Fredrick Bloodworth has built a career defined by growth, curiosity, and a deep commitment to servant leadership. Now an Operations Manager at the Conyers, Georgia manufacturing facility, Fredrick first stepped into the organization as an Operations Supervisor who was drawn to GSF’s strong Creed and Values. For him, the company’s focus on integrity, respect, and people made the decision to stay easy.
Fredrick’s career path reflects his drive to learn and lead. After starting in operations, he transitioned into a Process Engineer role, expanding his technical expertise and strengthening his understanding of GSF’s systems. His leadership potential continued to shine, paving the way to promotions to Superintendent and ultimately Operations Manager. Along the way, he developed expertise in business applications and completed training programs such as Leadership Essentials to Accelerate Development (LEAD).
“Each role stretched my capabilities, from people leadership and cross‑functional collaboration to strategic thinking and operational excellence,” he shared.
Strong mentorship has also played a significant role in his journey. Leaders, including Director of Operations Jan Dick and Operations Manager David Boateng, recognized his strengths early, encouraged him to stretch into new responsibilities, and supported his trajectory into larger leadership roles. That belief, along with GSF’s culture, gave Fredrick the confidence to advance his career within the company.
“GSF truly operates like a family—there is genuine care, support, and investment in one another’s success,” he expressed. “The emphasis on collaboration and doing what’s right for the customer and our people has strengthened my leadership philosophy. The culture encourages growth, ownership, and continuous improvement, which has pushed me to elevate my performance at every stage of my career.”
Today, Fredrick finds the most joy in developing people and helping teams succeed. He believes in leading with integrity and embracing opportunities to learn the business beyond a single role. As he looks ahead, he’s focused on strengthening his strategic leadership and expanding his impact, with aspirations to influence organizational performance and culture at an even broader level.
