Golden State Foods Promotes Chad Buechel to Corporate Vice President and President, KanPak U.S.

Golden State Foods (GSF) has promoted Chad Buechel to Corporate Vice President and President, KanPak U.S., a subsidiary of GSF that produces more than 35 million gallons of dairy and beverage products annually. In this elevated role, Chad will continue to lead all aspects of KanPak’s U.S. business from its Wichita, Kansas headquarters.
“This promotion is not only well-deserved, but it recognizes the dedication, focus and optimism with which Chad leads his team,” said GSF President and Chief Executive Officer Brian Dick. “Since taking responsibility for KanPak U.S., Chad has led efforts to make significant improvements to culture, plant operations, supply chain operations and process, quality, safety, and financial performance. Certainly, there is much progress left to be made, building on the existing foundation and on several years of momentum and achievement under Chad’s great leadership."
A GSF associate since 2017, Chad has served as President for KanPak U.S. since 2020 and previously led GSF’s City of Industry, California Liquid Products facility. Over the past five years, he led KanPak’s successful integration into the GSF family of companies, building a high-performing team that has achieved record growth and industry-leading customer service levels. His leadership continues to support GSF’s commitment to delivering exceptional value to customers through collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence.
Chad has more than 30 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry. He previously served as an area plant director for Synagro and has worked as a plant manager at the Kraft Heinz Co., Nestle USA, and Pepsi Bottling Group. Originally from Sacramento, California, Chad earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from National University in San Diego, California.
