Carla Sauer Celebrates 25 Years at GSF

For Carla Sauer, a temporary role with GSF in Georgia turned into a career spanning a quarter century. Starting as an operations clerk for GSF’s protein products business, she embraced every opportunity to learn, contribute, and advance. That mindset drove steady progress, built on curiosity, resilience, and trust earned through action.

Looking back, Carla reflects, “It’s been an amazing journey! I’ve learned so much, grown a lot, and met incredible people along the way.”

Over the years, Carla sought challenges, welcomed feedback, and strengthened skills that supported both personal and team success. After decades of career advancement, reaching this anniversary carries deep meaning for Carla.

Today, Carla leads a team as Senior Customer Service Manager for GSF's Liquid Products North America business. Integrated with the supply chain function, her approach centers on collaboration, connection, and consistency, even as each day brings new priorities. Communication, empathy, and positivity guide her leadership style, setting the tone for teams while strengthening customer trust.

GSF’s support played a vital role throughout her journey, which has encompassed roles in purchasing inventory control and sales logistics, in addition to customer service.
