Ali Seyedi Promoted to President, Quality Custom Distribution


Golden State Foods is pleased to announce the promotion of Ali Seyedi from Group Vice President, Quality Custom Distribution Operations, to President, Quality Custom Distribution. In this position, Ali will be responsible for overseeing the QCD business, including the 11 QCD distribution centers throughout the U.S. He will report to Bob Wolpert, Corporate Senior Vice President and President, Logistics Group. “Ali’s business knowledge, his account engagement talents and his operational leadership all contribute to making Ali perfectly suited to lead QCD as its next President,” explains Bob. “His career has been dedicated to QSR distribution, including many transformational contributions to QCD operations over the past three years. Likewise, his operational leadership has positioned QCD as a network leader with the various customers we serve. Ali is a key leader in our GSF Logistics growth strategy, and I look forward to continuing to leverage our great professional relationship moving forward.” A 33-year distribution veteran, Ali brought a wealth of experience and proven performance to GSF when he joined the company in 2012. He drove significant growth and results for a variety of companies throughout the U.S. as a company owner, senior executive, division leader and restaurant manager as well as international administration. His leadership benefitted an array of organizations such as: Martin-Brower Company (Chicago, Ill.); PepsiCo Food Systems (various U.S. locations); AmeriServe Food Distribution (Denver, Colo.) among others, including responsibilities with operations in the Middle East and Asia. Ali has a solid track record in positive customer relationships and high satisfaction ratings, employee satisfaction, sales growth, cost reduction, quality, safety, productivity and other KPIs. He also received a number of awards for safety, leadership and operations excellence. Originally from Tehran, Iran, Ali earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology (Mechanical Design) at the Jackson State University in Jackson, Miss. He later earned his Master of Business Administration degree from William Carey College in Gulfport, Miss.
