Aseptic processing and packaging provide multiple advantages, from distribution cost savings and consistent quality assurance to cleaner product labels and reduced environmental impact. The production process makes the use of preservatives unnecessary, resulting in cleaner product labels. Less material and less waste also heighten sustainability for aseptic products. 

 

Food safe for up to 12 months, KanPak’s shelf-stable products do not require refrigeration during distribution and storage. Without preservatives or refrigeration, these dairy and beverage products maintain high standards of quality in their color, taste and nutritional content.

How does it work?

By definition, aseptic means free from pathogenic microorganisms, or no microorganisms capable of growing in non-refrigerated conditions. The aseptic process involves three steps:
