On October 4, GSF’s Corporate Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Carol Fawcett, received SoCalCIO’s 2023 ORBIE® Award in the Large Enterprise category, among seven Southern California technology executives honored for their excellence in leadership. The preeminent peer leadership network of Southern California chief information officers, SoCalCIO presents the ORBIE Awards to regional honorees as part of a national awards program that has honored more than 700 technology leaders since inception in 1998.
“This is all about our teams,” said Carol in her acceptance remarks during the awards presentation. “Without them, really we have nothing, and without the technology that we provide to our companies, they cannot move forward. So, it’s just an amazing business to be in as far as technology goes. I’m with a fantastic company, GSF. It’s a culture like I’ve never experienced in my entire career. It’s phenomenal.”
